“Old Memories” is a small but emotional video project that LEHAIS made to preserve the beautiful things that have passed through life.
From the image of a painter - architect attached to art, to the journey of becoming a teacher, all are strung together into a gentle, warm and genuine stream of memories.
The school space with a sunny school yard, rustling rows of royal poinciana trees, classrooms filled with light and students' laughter...
All become the setting for films imbued with the flavor of youth.
“Old Memories” not only tells about the beauty of the teaching profession, but also awakens in each person a familiar feeling of the past: new notebooks, the sound of the school bell, hurried recess hours, or moments quietly watching the rain through the classroom window.
Through this project, LEHAIS wants to convey a simple message: Things that seem old, sometimes are exactly what we need to remember that we once had such a beautiful youth. “Old Memories” is therefore not just a video… but a return trip. An invitation for someone, no matter how busy, to take a few minutes to look back at the memories that contributed to creating the person they are today.
